Might Be Magic, launched by Claudia Hernandez and co-curator DJ / producer Brett Johnson, emerged on the Austin dance scene in March of 2021 and has quickly become one of the city’s favorite parties. Resident DJ Brett Johnson, known for his groovy, bumping house infused with all the right techno elements, contributes over 25 years of experience to the party giving it it’s authentic, underground atmosphere. Focused on bringing exciting talent to Texas to play alongside Austin’s best-kept local talent, Might be Magic has hosted over 40 parties with headliners such as Mystic Bill, Gene on Earth, DJ Diz, Lady D, the list goes on and on. The vibe? A healthy dose of house, techno, acid, and the occasional disco oddity.
